Samaj Parivar organized a Women's Skill Development Workshop last month, bringing together over 60 women from our community for a day of learning, inspiration, and empowerment.
Workshop Modules
The workshop covered three key areas:
- Tailoring & Handicrafts – Practical sessions on stitching, embroidery, and creating handmade products for sale
- Digital Literacy – Basic computer skills, using smartphones for business, and social media for marketing
- Entrepreneurship Basics – How to start a small business, manage finances, and access government schemes
Inspiring Stories
Several women who attended last year's workshop shared their success stories. Sunita Devi started her own tailoring business and now earns ₹15,000 per month. Meena Sharma launched a home-based food business after learning about digital marketing.
These stories remind us that with the right support, every woman in our community can achieve financial independence and dignity.
